Do I have to enter my credit card to sign up?

No. We only need your email address and the name of your organization. After signing up for free, you will be able to start designing and sending emails. The more information you provide during the sign up, the quicker you’ll be allowed to send with Mailjet.

Is the free plan free forever?

It sure is. You can send up to 6,000 emails per month (with a sending maximum of 200 emails per day) without paying us a dime. We don’t even ask for a credit card.

Do the featured prices include VAT?

Unless otherwise mentioned, all the prices featured on our website do not include VAT and are subject to the French VAT. European companies can be exempt from it if they provide an intra-Community VAT number when they sign up.

Can I change my plan at anytime?

If you choose a monthly subscription, yes, you can upgrade to a higher plan at anytime, or downgrade to a lower plan right before the end of your billing period. Regardless of which plan you select, your contact lists, campaign data and statistics will still be stored and accessed to.
If you choose a yearly subscription, you can only do an upgrade during your billing period.

Do I need a dedicated IP?

While a big number of clients are happy with our shared IPs, some large senders prefer to benefit from a dedicated IP. The reputation of this fresh IP address will be as good or as bad as your sending practices warrant. This means slightly more responsibility than a shared IP address, so you’ll want to make sure you’ve read up on your deliverability best practices and CAN-SPAM law, and of course GDPR.
Note that a dedicated IP is included upon request with our 150000 emails/month plan and above, after approval of our deliverability team. Additional IPs can be purchased at an extra cost.

What payment methods do you offer?

In addition to credit card payments, Mailjet also accepts payment via PayPal or wire transfer. You can subscribe to a prepaid account (the minimum deposit is $50USD). When your plan is renewed, the fee will be taken from your prepaid account. We do not accept cheques.

What happened to my unused email credits?

Email credits don’t roll over from one month to another and unused emails expire at the end of each billing cycle. You can upgrade or downgrade at anytime, to adjust your plan according to your needs.
